The purpose of the portal software is to provide a unified view of the monitoring software and the various statistics that are running on your hosting servers. The portal is divided into 5 separate categories.

Important: In order to have a server displayed in one of the main Admin Portal interfaces you need to have this server added in an existing Server Group. Detailed instructions how to manage Server Groups and add servers to them you can find in the following article:

Server Groups Management

You need to have the Portal installed For the Guardian Monitoring Feature (Real Time Stats). The Portal itself is free. You will be asked to install Portal on the first server you attempt installing 1H software. Generally we recommend to have a separate server where you will be running the Portal software. A server that is separate from the other hosting servers you are going to monitor.

Guardian

Under the Guardian category you will find the Real Time Status and the Downtime Stats.

Real Time Status

This is the area of the portal that you will probably end up using the most. Under the Real Time Status you can get real time information about the current load and any issues with the services on all your servers.

Downtime Stats

This is the section where you can get detailed reports about service downtime for all monitored servers/server groups. The different server groups that are being monitored will be displayed in separate tabs under this interface.

Hive

Under the Hive section of the portal you will be able to access the CPU Stats Web Interface

Hawk

Under the Hawk section for the portal you will be able to see how many failed login attempts, brute force attempts and blocked IPs you have on each server and when they have occurred.

Digits

Under the Digits section of the portal you can see detailed information about daily bandwidth usage on all servers added to the Portal Server Groups. Also you will be able to explore the disk space usage on the servers.

General

The General tab includes the Server Groups sections and the 1H Knowledge Base.

Server Groups

As specified above in order to have a server displayed in one of the main Admin Portal interfaces you need to have this server added in an existing Server Group. You can check the following article for detailed instructions how to manage Server Groups:

Knowledge base

This section will open the 1H Knowledge Base in your portal. Here you can find specific information about the software provided by 1H.
