Question

I don't have enough memory to allocate for Hive from where it is loaded by default. Are there any other options?

Answer

Yes, you can easily setup Hive to be loaded from your hard disk instead of the memory. You should keep in mind that we recommend having Hive loaded from the memory. Loading Hive from the disk might cause your hosting services to load a bit slower due to the fact all service data will be read/written from/to the hard disk.

You can change the location of the BaseOS by using the following command on your server:

/usr/local/1h/bin/baseosmanager.sh [mem|disk]

If you wish to be on the hard drive, you should run:

/usr/local/1h/bin/baseosmanager.sh disk
